Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As a Research Assistant 1, you will play a pivotal role in supporting laboratory projects in stem cell metabolism, mitochondrial biology, bioengineering, and B lymphocyte development. Key responsibilities include:
• Performing tissue culture to maintain mammalian primary, established, and iPSC lines.
• Conducting DNA/RNA/protein extractions and assays, including qPCR, Western blotting, and related techniques.
• Utilizing flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry/immunohistochemistry, and microscopy.
• Assisting with data analysis and interpretation.
• Maintaining digital records of experimental results.
• Generating figures for publication.
• Providing general technical assistance as needed.
Note: This is a part-time position, scheduled for 4 days per week, 4 hours per day. Workdays will fall between Monday and Friday, within the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Salary Range: $26.52/hour - $31.63/hour
May convert to career.
Job Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree or experience in key cellular and molecular biology techniques, including tissue culture, DNA/RNA/protein extractions, Western blots, and PCR.
• Ability to work alternative shifts based on operational needs.
