As the Senior Clinical Laboratory Science Specialist for Point of Care Testing (POCT), you will provide leadership and technical expertise for the Ambulatory Clinical Laboratory Point of Care program.  In this role, you will oversee POCT quality control and proficiency testing, conduct training and competency assessments, validate new analyzers and test methodologies, and develop and maintain policies and procedures.

Salary Range: $64.39/hour - $82.90/hour


Job Qualifications

Current, valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license. 
Bachelor’s degree.
A minimum of four years of clinical laboratory scientist experience.
Proven experience in training and lecturing.
Experience writing procedures and reports.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Demonstrated experience in LIS interface validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Must pass the Ishihara Color Vision exam, i.e. visual acuity including color differentiation.
Experience in Point of Care Testing, highly preferred.
