The Senior Echocardiographic Technician performs advanced cardiac ultrasound studies, including 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms. You will generate preliminary reports, notify cardiologists of urgent findings and assist with related cardiac procedures. The role involves supply monitoring, operating information systems, accurate billing and record maintenance along with data collection. The technician ensures a clean, safe work area and adheres to schedules and patient care standards.

Salary Range: $58.53 to $77.26 Hourly

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of Cardiac Echocardiography Technology Program
  • Registered with ARDMS-RDCS (AE) for Adults – required
  • Registered with ARDMS-RDCS (PE) for Pediatrics – required
  • BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required
  • At least 3 years of Adult Echo experience – required
  • Pediatric experience - preferred 
  • Knowledge and ability to apply knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
  • Ability to apply theory to practice in the application of ultrasound technique to the clinical evaluation of the target anatomy
  • Ability to push the 500+ lb. echo machine for distances up to 100 feet within the office
