Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As the Senior Food Services Manager, you will lead the development and execution of an innovative, high-quality food program for the Retail Segment of the Department of Nutrition. Working independently, you will align operations with UCLA Health’s mission while optimizing efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will ensure the program meets budgetary goals and enhances the overall dining experience.


Salary Range: $63,800-127,000/year

  • Serve Safe Manager certificate.
  • Ability to work in a standing position for a  long period of time; stretch, bend, walk, stoop and reach repetitively.
  • Ability to conform to dress code.
  • Ability to work in a non-smoking environment.
  • Ability to practice safe food handling techniques.
  • Must have good hygiene.
  • Must have the ability to adjust to fluctuating work load and adhere to production schedules.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with co-workers, customers, supervisors and managers.
  • Provide effective timely training, coaching and evaluation of staff.
