The Senior LVN will assist with consults and procedures within their scope of practice, including setting up sterile fields and supporting imaging modalities. They will monitor vital signs such as EKG, pulse oximetry and respiratory rate, promptly recognizing abnormalities and communicating findings to the healthcare team. Additionally, as the Senior LVN you will assist patients with activity, mobility and coordinate communication between staff members. The role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to interpret EKG readings, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Overall, the Senior LVN plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality care within the clinic. You will be required to rotate between Manhattan Beach and Palos Verdes Imaging Centers as well as other Imaging Centers staffed by UCLA Health.
Salary: $36.34 to $47.94 Hourly
Job Qualifications

- Active California LVN license with Intravenous Therapy and blood withdrawal certification - required
- BCLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross – required
- 6 months of LVN experience – required
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical LVN experience – strongly preferred
- Phlebotomy Certificate – required
- Ability to interpret EKG basic arrhythmias, the components of the EKG waveform including PR interval and ST segment.
- Ability to skillfully administer oral, IM and subcutaneous medications
- Knowledge and ability to set up and assist physician with any procedures within ones scope of practice
- Skill to accurately perform a 12-lead EKG
