Primary Duties and Responsibilities

In this role as an  Administrative RN Coordinator, you will support the Small Bowel program by combining clinical nursing expertise with operational and administrative coordination. This role oversees patient care workflows, facilitates communication between providers, and manages scheduling, referrals, and program logistics. You will serve as a key liaison across multidisciplinary teams, supports care navigation for Small Bowel Program patients, assists with quality-improvement initiatives, and help optimize clinic operations to enhance patient experience, safety, and efficiency. 

Requires traveling between Westwood and Santa Monica office locations.

Salary Range:$65.76 - $97.76

 

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors 's degree in nursing or related area, and / or equivalent combination of experience / training.
  • Registered Nurse in the State of California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience or training in Gastroenterology Nursing
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more clinical specialty areas, to include diagnoses, treatments, standards of practice and patient / family educational consulting and resources.
  • Advanced skills in assessing patient's grievances and locating appropriate resources to get issues resolved. Skills to intervene and assist with patient's questions or concerns about treatment plan.
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software including Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook. Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area.
  • Strong skills in written and verbal communications, with the ability to convey complex and / or sensitive information in a clear and concise
  • Skill in developing a plan of care including setting goals, monitoring and documenting progress
  • Ability to implement interventions that are pertinent to goals established in the plan of care
  • Ability to delegate tasks in a management style that is consistent with promoting leadership and teamwork
  • Ability to evaluate the effective of interventions toward the attainment of established goals and to recognize the need to reassess or reset goal parameters
