Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Join our team as a Senior Nuclear Medicine Technologist and play a vital role in delivering accurate, high-quality diagnostic imaging that supports exceptional patient care. In this advanced role, you will operate nuclear medicine equipment with expert proficiency, ensuring safe, precise, and efficient examinations. Primary duties include:

Conduct patient interviews, communicating clearly and compassionately with patients of all ages to explain procedures, provide reassurance, and promote a positive experience.

Prepare, perform quality control, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceutical compounds.

Handle, prepare, witness, and administer adjunctive medications under direct physician supervision.

Perform patient imaging and therapeutic procedures, including computer processing and image enhancement.

Salary Range: $63.22/hour - $83.39/hour


Job Qualifications

Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technology license issued by the Department of Health Services, Radiologic Health Branch.
