Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Under general supervision, this role supports the TRIC Manager and Radiology faculty in research and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include conducting laboratory experiments, assisting with device research and animal model protocols, and serving as the primary contact in the Center Manager’s absence.


Key duties involve preparing IACUC & Biosafety applications, maintaining TRIC user training records, and managing compliance documentation.

We seek a motivated, detail-oriented self-starter with strong organizational, communication, and technical skills, who thrives in a collaborative research environment.


The ideal candidate would be able to lift, push, pull, or carry 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, and be able to wear lead apparel for long periods of time.


Salary: $5,536.68 - $8,903.58 monthly 

Job Qualifications

Required: 

  • Skill in laboratory safety protocols including proper handling of radiation producing equipment and biohazardous substances, including chemicals, blood products, and tissues.
  • Manages general anesthesia, intubation, ventilation, vascular access, and minor surgical procedures to support advanced imaging for teaching, training, and research projects.
  • Working knowledge of medical, veterinary, and scientific terminology and procedural formatting to prepare and edit research protocols, standard operating procedures and correspondence with speed and accuracy and using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory review processes, such as IACUC, GLP, Biosafety committee, and EH&S.
  • A bachelor’s degree or a combination of equivalent years of education, experience, and training.
