Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As a Receiving Storekeeper, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient receiving and distribution of linen, supplies, and equipment across requesting departments. You’ll assist with stocking, cleaning, and organizing inventory, as well as performing physical inventory counts and data entry. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Organize inventory holding rooms and work areas
  • Fill orders, pack, and deliver linen, supplies, and equipment
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and ensure accurate data entry
  • Accurately process all necessary paperwork/documentation such as packing slips, logs, delivery tickets, etc. 
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to meet their supply needs and staging preferences
  • Utilize supply management software to place orders and replenish inventory

This is a part-time per diem position; schedule and work hours may vary. May convert to Career.

Salary Range: $25.10 Hourly

Job Qualifications

  • Operate a 28ft box truck/university vehicle; experience with electric pallet jack, forklift, dollies, and heavy-duty transport carts.
  • Required to hold valid driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies/procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program.”
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 100 lbs, perform heavy manual tasks.
  • Read, write, and follow instructions in English; detail-oriented; comfortable with data entry on handhelds/computers; basic math for inventory and weight calculations.
  • Adhere to infection control regulations; maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude; adaptable to workload changes and rotating shifts; efficient and productive.
  • Participate in required training, workshops, and drills.
