Primary Duties and Responsibilities

As our Multi-Fellowship Program Coordinator you will be responsible for the administration and management of two to three subspecialty fellowship programs in the Department of Human Genetics. You will assist Program Directors in the oversight of the assigned subspecialty areas and ensure that both annual reporting requirements are met and that educational activities including the curriculum are maintained as per ACGME and GME requirements and guidelines. In this role, you will facilitate annual recruiting and evaluation activities for assigned fellowship programs and will work to ensure an optimal clinical and educational training environment for current Fellows to support success in training and beyond. You will also oversee the MS-4 Elective Course in Genetics, and will perform Human Resources and Academic Personnel responsibilities associated with onboarding, off-boarding, dossiers, Visa's, and all other relevant tasks associated with HR. The ideal candidate will be innovative and take initiative to improve and standardize administrative processes across fellowship programs wherever possible. Three to five years of previous experience with GME/ACGME program is preferred.

Salary Range: $24.28-$48.04/Hour

Required:

  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with students, trainees, faculty, and various levels of leadership.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written forms.
  • Skill in writing and editing correspondence with correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation and with speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to make oral group presentations; ability to explain policies and procedure to medical students, residents, fellows and faculty
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate follow-through on assignments.
  • Ability to analyze data and to display data using tables, charts, and graphs.
  • Skill in coordinating meetings and events by determining location, time, arranging catering, etc.
  • Ability to manage and monitor online applications system such as MedHub, WebADS, ERAS, PDWS, and NRMP.
  • Previous experience in an ACGME-accredited program.

  • Ability to work occasional weekend
