Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time clinical TMS Technician to join the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Clinics which serves Westwood, Pasadena, and Calabasas. Primary duties include:

  • Perform equipment positioning for TMS equipment for treatment administration
  • Monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy
  • Enter, updating, and scribing patient appointment information in CareConnect system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system setup throughout treatment
  • Communicate with a team of certified TMS physicians who oversee patient treatment at multiple office locations
  • Collaborate with a team of trained TMS technicians to deliver high-quality patient care for each patient
  • Provide information to patients regarding enrollment in the TMS program
  • Distribute psychiatric rating scales 

Please note: this position requires you to float to all sites based on clinic needs

Salary:$26.52/hr - $31.63/hr

 

Job Qualifications

Associates or Bachelors Degree (preferred)

Strong computer skills- knowledge of MAC and PC based operating systems

Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with coworkers, research subjects, and their families

Experience working in mental health or medicine

Ability to successfully obtain TMS Certification (training and certification provided during initial period of employment)

Experience working with patients who are suffering from anxiety and depression (preferred)

Prior experience using TMS equipment (preferred)

Reliable source of transportation to travel to our clinics
