We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Technologist who is passionate about delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging and an exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures while providing compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages
- Asist with IAC accreditation.
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and families throughout their imaging experience
- Review patient histories, physician orders, and medical records to ensure accurate and efficient imaging exams
- Utilize advanced sonographic knowledge and critical thinking skills to identify anatomy, abnormalities, and pathology
- Independently produce high-quality diagnostic images that support accurate interpretation and patient diagnosis
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to provide excellent clinical care
- Maintain a strong commitment to service excellence, professionalism, and teamwork in every interaction

Salary Range: $65.55 - $79.93/Hourly

Staff Ultrasound Technologist
· At least 1 year of acute care (hospital) experience – required
· RDMS credential in one specialty - required
Senior Ultrasound Technologist
· 4 years of prior acute care (hospital) experience – required (Advancement into Senior job classification can be assessed after 6 months with UCLA Health)
· RDMS credential in three specialties - Abdomen, OBGYN and RVT – required
General Requirements
· BLS/CPR Certificate - required
· Graduate of CAAHAP ultrasound program – strongly preferred
· AAS or higher in Medical Sonography – preferred
· Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, visitors, physicians, nurses, staff and others in a professional and courteous manner
· Ability to accept and carry out oral and written instructions accurately
· Ability to employ independent decision making, prioritize work, while handling multiple tasks to completion within allotted time
· Ability to show attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness
· Basic typing skills to input various data into RIS and HIS Information systems.
· Knowledge of medical terminology with the ability to distinguish between types of procedures within the assigned department(s) and medical diagnoses
