Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Join our Rehabilitation Services team as an Administrative Assistant, Front Desk, where you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional patient experience and supporting the daily operations of one of our busiest outpatient clinics.

In this highly visible position, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing outstanding customer service while managing a variety of administrative and clerical responsibilities. Key duties include patient registration, appointment scheduling, processing and preparing patient information, collecting patient payments, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Our largest outpatient rehabilitation clinic serves more than 250 patients daily, making this an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. In addition to supporting patients and families, you will work closely with rehabilitation therapists to coordinate and maintain schedules, helping to maximize appointment availability and clinic efficiency.

Salary Range: $26.42 -$37.49 per hour

  

Job Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of electronic medical records including scheduling and registration
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of payor billing requirements, on-line billing system, and HCPSCS, CPT-4 and ICD-10 codes for Rehabilitation Services.
  • Working knowledge of Physical therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Prosthetics and Orthotics treatment and terminology.
  • Reading skills to understand documents such as intake forms, therapist or patient written instructions, and hospital guidelines. Working knowledge of computerized scheduling, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients and staff from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Ability to safely perform repetitive bending, stooping, squatting, standing or sitting during day.
  • Sufficient dexterity and strength to perform standard duties.
  • Ability to walk between areas of Rehab Services.
