As a Diet Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting safe, accurate, and efficient meal service for our patients. Working under the direction of Principal Food Service Supervisors, you’ll serve as a key connection point between patients, the Call Center, and our food production and assembly teams.
In this role, you’ll obtain and enter patient meal orders, ensure selections meet prescribed diet requirements, and help coordinate meal information with the Production and Assembly areas. You’ll work in a fast-paced call center environment where accuracy, communication, and attention to detail are essential to delivering a positive patient experience.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic knowledge of mathematics, measurements, and portion sizes
Knowledge of therapeutic diets and dietary requirements
Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment
Ability to answer telephone calls with a pleasant and professional demeanor
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate information clearly, effectively, and concisely
Basic computer literacy and ability to learn and use computer systems
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
