Pharmacists completing this PGY1 residency will be competent practitioners of direct patient care in an acute care environment. As members of the health care team, they will be accountable for achieving optimal drug therapy outcomes in a variety of acute care patients including internal medicine, infectious diseases, transplantation, critical care and pediatric patients. The resident will develop and exercise skills in educating other health care providers and patients. They will develop leadership skills by taking an active role in medication safety and performance improvement efforts. The resident will demonstrate professional maturity by exhibiting a commitment to the profession, and developing a mechanism for personal life-long learning. The PGY1 resident will report to the PGY1 Residency Program Director.

Salary: $36/hr ($75,168 annually)
